Notice of Availability of Funds and Solicitation for Grant 
Applications (SGA); Extension of the Closing Date for Receipt of 
Applications

AGENCY: Employment and Training Administration, Labor.

ACTION: Extension of the closing date for receipt of applications.

SUMMARY: In the Federal Register of December 9, 1997 (62 FR 64886), the 
Department of Labor published a notice of availability of funds and SGA 
for engaging employers in State and local School-to-Work (STW) systems 
through efforts undertaken by industry groups and trade associations. 
This notice extends the closing date for receipt of applications for an 
additional 30 days. This action is necessary to insure adequate 
preparation time for receiving quality proposals.

DATES: The revised closing date for receipt of application is February 
23, 1998.
