Notice of Meeting

    Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, notice is hereby 
given of a meeting of the newly appointed Advisory Committee on 
Voluntary Foreign Aid (ACVFA).

DATE: March 11, 1998 (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).

LOCATION: State Department, Loy Henderson Auditorium, 23rd Street 
Entrance.
    This will be the first full quarterly meeting of the newly 
appointed Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid (ACVFA). 
Plenaries and breakout sessions involving public participants will 
focus on two major topics: (1) civil society programs and partnerships 
in development, and (2) achieving and measuring development results.
    The meeting is free and open to the public. HOWEVER, NOTIFICATION 
BY MARCH 9, 1998 THROUGH THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE HEADQUARTERS IS 
REQUIRED. Persons wishing to attend the meeting must fax their name, 
organization, birthdate and social security number for security
