ANR Pipeline Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC Gas 
Tariff

April 3, 1998.
    Take notice that on March 31, 1998, ANR Pipeline Company (ANR) 
tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, Second Revised 
Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheets to be effective May 
1, 1998.

Second Revised Sheet Nos. 69 through 72
Second Revised Sheet No. 77
Second Revised Sheet No. 87
Original Sheet No. 87 A

    ANR states that this filing is being made in accordance with the 
provisions of Section 154.202 of the Commission's regulations, is to 
implement Rate Schedule IPLS to create a new, flexible parking and 
lending service for shippers. Accordingly, this filing includes revised 
tariff sheets for the new Rate Schedule, as well as certain conforming 
revisions to the General Terms and Conditions of ANR's tariff.
    ANR states that copies of the filing have been mailed to all 
affected customers and state regulatory commissions.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest this filing should 
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
in accordance with sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's 
Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protest must be filed in 
accordance with section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to become a party must 
file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public 
Reference Room.
